SYLLABUS FOR PRACTICAL CLASSES

1.Condenser –visualization of different type like Air cooled – water cooled – combing of condenser- cleaning of condenser –Explaining the function of condenser in the system

2.Visualization of Evaporators- with different tube and fin materials – Defrost methods

 3.Various design of Piping – Method of Brazing – Welding – different type of welding

4.Visualization of Hermetic- Semi Hermetic – Reciprocating – screw – scroll and Rotary compressors- Explaining about Open type – closed type compressors- Dismantling of Any type of compressors and the re assembling of the same. Overhauling of the compressors

5. Knowledge of Refrigeration controls like Expanison valve, selection of expansion valve-selection of control valves – water valves flanges –etc – fitting of the above in the circuit

 6. Ducting- Make different kind of ducting and the duct joint-reducer- damper

7.  Routing of ducting- piping- electrical conduits etc

8.Layout of AC Plant, ice plant, cold storage …etc.

9. Test and diagnosis faults of Car A/C system. Pressure test/leak of the system. Strip the component parts. Cleaning Flushing leak testing , evacuating and charging & use of suitable chemicals (Trichloro Ethylene) for more contaminated coils

10. Observe various Thermodynamic processes take place while working, Calculation of Refrigeration capacity (TR)
